You can stop using a form on a single job, or stop using a template everywhere. Neither deletes the submissions already collected.
Who can do this: owners and admins.
Stop a form on one job
- Open the job and click its Forms tab.
- On the form's row, click Deactivate.
- Click Deactivate to confirm.
The form stops being asked for at clock-in, clock-out and line item sign-off on that job, and it can no longer be started from the app or a terminal. The row is faded and marked Deactivated. Hover over the badge to see who deactivated it and when.
To use it again, click Reactivate on the row. While a form is deactivated, its due date cannot be changed.
Remove a form that has never been used
If a form on a job has no submissions, its row has a bin icon instead of Deactivate. Click it and confirm to remove the form from the job. This cannot be undone.
Stop using a template everywhere
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner, then Settings, and open the Form Templates tab.
- Click the archive icon on the template's row.
- Click Archive Template to confirm.
An archived template:
- cannot be added to any more jobs
- no longer stops anyone clocking in, clocking out or signing off a line item, on any job
- keeps every submission already collected
Any time forms that are already on jobs can still be filled in. To stop those, deactivate them on each job as well.
Restore an archived template
On the Form Templates tab, set the status filter to Archived to list only archived templates. Click the restore icon on the row. The template is active again, and any forms that were blocking clock-ins on jobs start doing so again.
