When someone leaves, remove them from your account. They lose access straight away and their user seat is freed. Their records are kept, and you can bring them back later.
Who can do this: owners and admins. You cannot remove yourself or the account owner.
Remove someone
- Click Staff in the main menu and open the User Management tab.
- Click Remove on the person's row.
- Click Remove User to confirm.
The person moves to Archived users at the bottom of the tab. Removing someone:
- signs them out of the web and mobile apps and ends their access to your account
- frees their user seat
- keeps the time they logged and anything else they recorded, so their hours and labour cost stay on your jobs
To remove several people at once, tick the boxes beside them and click Remove Users in the bar that appears.
Bring someone back
- At the bottom of the User Management tab, click Archived users to expand it.
- Click Unarchive on the person's row.
- Confirm.
They are back in your active list with the same role, pay rate and tags, and can log in again. Unarchiving uses a seat. If every seat is in use, Unarchive is greyed out until you free one or the account owner upgrades the plan.
Someone who has left cannot be added again as a new user with the same email address. Unarchive them instead.
