How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated data from Trades Panel, please follow these steps:
- Open the Support Ticket feature within the Trades Panel application. This can be accessed from:
- The web application - via the support ticket panel
- The mobile application (iOS or Android) - via the Support screen
- Create a new support ticket with the subject "Account Deletion Request"
- In your ticket message, clearly state:
- That you wish to delete your account
- Whether you are the account owner or an account member (and your role if you know it: Admin, Office Staff, or Field Staff)
- Your account email address (for verification purposes)
- If you are the account owner, confirm that you understand all account data will be permanently deleted
- Submit the ticket and our support team will process your request
Important: Account deletion requests are processed manually by our support team. Our team will verify your identity before processing the deletion request to protect your account security. Processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the request.
What Happens When You Request Deletion
If You Are the Account Owner
If you are the owner of the Trades Panel account, requesting deletion will result in:
- Complete account removal: The entire company account and all associated data will be permanently deleted
- All user accounts: All users (members) associated with the account will be removed
- All business data: All events, tasks, time logs, jobs, quotes, invoices, contacts, and other business information will be permanently deleted
- All documents: All uploaded files and documents will be permanently deleted
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have exported any data you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
If You Are an Account Member (Admin, Office Staff, or Field Staff)
If you are not the account owner but are a member of the account (with role: Admin, Office Staff, or Field Staff), requesting deletion will result in:
- Your user account removal: Your account member association will be removed from the account
- Your profile information: Your name, email address, phone number, and profile image associated with this account will be removed
- Access revocation: You will no longer be able to access this account
Data that will be retained: As an account member, the following data will not be deleted, as it belongs to the account (not to you as an individual user):
- Events, tasks, and time logs created by you (these remain as part of the account's business records)
- Jobs, quotes, invoices, and other business data
- Contacts, customers, and other business information
- Documents and files uploaded to the account
- Any other data that is part of the company's business records
Data Retention and Deletion Timeline
Once your deletion request is verified and processed by our support team:
- Immediate access revocation: Your account access will be revoked immediately upon processing
- Deletion processing: Account deletion is processed manually by our support team. You will receive confirmation once the deletion is complete
- Legal retention: Some data may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance purposes, including:
- Financial records and transaction history
- Billing and subscription information
- Tax-related documentation
After the retention period expires, this data will also be permanently deleted. This retention is required by UK tax law and other applicable regulations.
What Data Will Be Deleted
The following types of data will be permanently deleted:
Personal Information
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Profile images and personal settings
- Login credentials and authentication tokens
- Session data and access logs
Business Data (for Account Owners)
- Customer and contact information
- Jobs, projects, and tasks
- Quotes and invoices
- Time logs and scheduling data
- Staff information and user accounts
- Documents and file uploads
- Communications and messages
- All other business data associated with the account
Business Data (for Account Members)
- Your personal user account information
- Your login credentials
- Your profile settings
What Data Will Be Retained
Legal and Compliance Data
For account owners, the following data may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance:
- Financial transaction records
- Billing and subscription history
- Tax-related documentation
- Records required by UK Companies Act and HMRC regulations
Account Data (for Account Members)
When an account member requests deletion, the following data belonging to the account will be retained:
- Events, tasks, and time logs created by the user (these belong to the account)
- Jobs, quotes, invoices, and business records
- Customer and contact information
- Documents and files
- All other business data that is part of the company account
Your Rights Under GDPR

Alternative Options
Before requesting account deletion, you may wish to consider:
- Exporting your data: You can export invoice data for accounting integrations (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) via the Exports page in your account settings. For other data exports, please contact support via a support ticket
- Account suspension: For temporary breaks, you may prefer to simply stop using the account rather than deleting it
- Removing account members: If you are an account owner, you can remove individual members without deleting the entire account
- Cancelling subscription: If your concern is related to billing, you can cancel your subscription without deleting your account
